Ahhh, yes....

This is a great tablet, still the best Super AMOLED screen of its size I've ever used.

Operations
Reset Password
Forgot your password? If you've got TWRP installed and your device is NOT encrypted, you can bypass the lock screen with the following: Credit goes to adithyan25 at SSS XDA Developers' forum
- Turn the device off
- Boot into recovery mode (XXX)
- Perform a TWRP Backup, just in case something goes wrong
- Use the TWRP terminal (or file manager if you must) to rename the following files:
- /data/system/password.key
- /data/system/pattern.key
- /data/system/locksettings.db
- /data/system/locksettings.db-shm
- /data/system/locksettings.db-wal
I just appended .old and that worked for me.
- Reboot into the normal system
- The lock screen should now only require a swipe, no pattern or password
Customizing
- Root with: CF-AUTO Root
- Recovery Tools
- ROMs
- LineageOS - The build for this device is no longer maintained; but it is still available for manual build.
